Desc: Where's My Stuff: Directed by Zohar Kaniel. The loneliness and solitude of the individual within his family, is exposed through the relationship between the director and his elderly mother. The mother suffers from a severe case of obsessive hoarding. A Palestinian carpenter from east Jerusalem sneaks his way into the heart and daily life of the mother and causes turmoil within the crumbling family. The family pulls together in order to rescue the mother from her self-destructiveness. This story documents the reality of a family that on the one hand is constantly quarreling and on the other hand is full of compassion and human warmth. The film 'Were's my stuff' pushes boundaries and raises questions dealing with : aging, honor, pride and voyeurism.
